You can grow beautiful celery or celeriac if you fertilize well and water regularly. We offer varieties that will produce high-quality yields under common growing conditions.
Celery will store 2-3 months and celeriac 6-8 months at 98-100% RH and 32°F (0°C).
Celeriac's flesh has almost no fibers and is packed with pure celery flavor. Harvest late summer through fall at a 3-5" diameter. The roots store as easily as carrots and add celery flavor to vegetable juice, soups and stews, or can be shredded (like carrots) for salads through fall and winter. Very popular in Northern and Central Europe.
