Horseradish
The roots of this easy-to-grow, hardy perennial are ground to make wonderfully hot and sweet horseradish sauce. Even a modest size home garden can sport a few horseradish plants at the border for root harvest each fall and spring. The plants do not make viable seeds; we supply Massachusetts-grown root cuttings, and ship in the spring beginning in early April. We do not ship Horseradish outside the continental United States.
