Blackberries
Blackberries are related to raspberries (both are in the Rubus genus and produce aggregate accessory fruits), but blackberries retain their core when picked. Once regarded as thorny weeds, blackberries are now a popular cultivated fruit. Most blackberries are not very cold-hardy, and need longer growing seasons in order to produce fruit on floricane growth. We offer disease-free, dormant canes of a variety that can be grown successfully in northern areas and will produce fruit on primocane growth.
