Flagrano (French flageolet)
(Phaseolus vulgaris)
Easy to shell.
Followers of Flambeau, the flageolet we used to offer, will be pleased with Flagrano. The pods contain 8-10 mint green seeds like Flambeau but are much easier to shell by hand. The beans are firm, flavorful and delicious fresh or frozen. Also good used as a dry bean. Avg. 1800 seeds/lb. Packet: 225 seeds.
