Germination: 10-14 days at 70°F. Presoak 48-72 hours. Culture: Indoors - 6-8 weeks before last frost. Plant 1" deep in individual containers. Harden off and transplant outdoors after danger of frost is past. Outdoors - 1 week after last frost. Light/Soil: Full sun; any soil, but prefers rich, moist, well-drained loam. Spacing: 36-48". Use: Back or highlight in beds, borders, mass plantings, large container. Harvest: After pods begin to show color. |
