Growing Information:
Germination: 14-21 days at 70ºF. Culture: Indoors - 8-10 weeks before last frost. Do not cover seed. Transplant out after danger of frost is past. Outdoors - 2 weeks before last frost, in groups of 3-4 seeds. Thin. Deadheading increases bloom. Best grown as annual. Reseeds. Light/Soil: Full sun; average, well-drained soil. Spacing: 12-18". Use: Fresh or dried cut flower, beds, pots, back of borders, wildflower plantings, meadows, cottage gardens. Harvest: Blooms are completely open. Dry in silica gel. |
