Growing Information:
Germination: 12-21 days at 65-68°F. Prechill seed 1-2 weeks at 35-40°F. Culture: Outdoors (recommended) - early spring when soil is 50-60°F. Indoors - 6-8 weeks before last frost, in 3" pot packs. Light aids germination. Transplant after danger of frost is past. Light/Soil: Full sun to partial shade; well-drained soil. Spacing: 10-12". Staking may be needed. Use: Fresh or dried cut flower, back of beds, borders, cottage gardens. Harvest: Fresh - bells are formed and white flowers just opening. Harvest regularly to promote bloom of side shoots. Dried - bells are firm. |
