Growing Information:
GERMINATION: 10-15 days at 70-75°F. CULTURE: Indoors only - Sow 12-13 weeks before last frost in deep cell packs. Do not cover seed as light is needed for germination. Keep soil evenly moist but not saturated, maintain 70-75°F soil temperature, and provide good air circulation until emergence. Early transplanting is recommended. Transplant no later than the fourth leaf stage, approximately 21-28 days. Reduce moisture levels once emergence has occurred and allow to dry out slightly between watering to prevent algae growth. Outdoors - not recommended. TIP: Appling T-22HC Plantshield is recommended to provide prolonged protection against root pathogens. GROWING ON: After emergence lower the temperature to 60-70°F. Avoid stressing the plugs with high temperature over 75°F and over watering during this stage to prevent rosetting (resting stage). LIGHT/SOIL REQUIREMENTS: Full sun in well-drained soil high in organic matter. SPACING: 4-8" apart. HARVEST: Fresh: Harvest when 2-3 of the flowers on a stem are open.
