Southern Belle Mix (F1)
(Hibiscus moscheutos)
Gorgeous, 9-10" flowers!
This 1971 AAS winning mix produces outstanding blooms of red, rose pink, white, and pink and white bicolor that cover the bushy plant all summer long. Hummingbirds love them. Plants can grow up to 5' at maturity, and are spectacular as a quick summer hedge or a border standout. Relatively pest-free and easy to grow in full sun and moist soil. If planted early in the season, Southern Belle will produce gigantic flowers from seed the same year. Note: In order to hasten germination, seeds are pre-scarified. No further treatment is necessary. Ht. 48-60". Avg. 2,400 seeds/oz. Packet: 15 seeds.
