2½ - 3½" pure white flowers with an intricate, lacy pattern. Full, well-branched plants with strong, upright stems are easy to grow. The clusters of star-shaped, green seed pods also make a unique bouquet addition. Also known as white lace flower. Ht. 24-30". Avg. 2,300 seeds/oz. Packet: 50 seeds.

DAYS TO GERMINATION: Direct seed: 12-16 days at 60-65°F (16-18°C).
Transplant: 7-14 days at 68-86°F (20-30°C), alternating day and night temperature. Chill seed at 40-45°F (4-7°C) for 1-2 weeks prior to sowing in the greenhouse.

SOWING: Make 2-3 successive sowings, 2 weeks apart for a continuous summer harvest. Support may be necessary.
Direct seed (recommended): Sow seed thinly in rows, covering lightly, in early spring after last frost. If growing in the South, sow seed in the fall.
Transplant: Sow 4-5 weeks before planting outside. When the first true leaves appear transplant into larger containers. Harden off and transplant outside after the last frost.

Note: Plants do not perform well in temperatures above 85°F (29°C).

LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun.

SOIL REQUIREMENTS:
Average, well-drained soil. Will tolerate dry soil.

PLANT SPACING: 9-12".

HARDINESS ZONES: Annual.

HARVEST: Fresh:Harvest when approximately 80% of the flowers in the umbel are open. Flowers should be crisp white with no hint of pollen shed.
Dried: Once seed pods form.

USES: Excellent cut flower. Back of beds and borders. Dried.
