'Frosted Explosion' - Key Growing Information

A bouquet of 'Frosted Explosion,' a variety of the ornamental grass, Panicum elegans.
DAYS TO GERMINATION: 7-14 days at 60-64°F (16-18°C).

SOWING: Transplant (recommended): We recommend transplanting rather than direct seeding because young seedlings can easily be mistaken for grass weeds, making the first cultivation/weeding difficult. LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun.

SOIL REQUIREMENTS: Well-drained soil.

PLANT SPACING: 10-12".

HARDINESS ZONES: Annual.

HARVEST: Fresh: Harvest when flower spikes are fully opened.

USES: Excellent cut flower. Filler in bouquets and mixed containers.
