Catmint (Nepeta mussinii) - Key Growing Information
SOWING: Transplant (recommended): Start 6-8 weeks before the last frost in the spring. Press the seeds into the soil mix and cover lightly. For fuller, bushier plants, pinch back the growing tips of the seedlings when they are 2-3" tall. Transplant outside in midspring, 12-18" apart, or grow in a container.
LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun/Part Shade. Catmint grows best in part shade, but tolerates full sun.
SOIL REQUIREMENTS: Average, well-drained soil.
