Mini green-stem Pac Choi.
Flat, pale, misty green stems form a thick, heavy base with broad, oval, rich green leaves. The compact, vase-shaped plant at full growth is about 8-10" tall, but perfectly formed at "baby" size when young. One of the most bolt-resistant and uniform varieties of this type. Space 6-8" apart. Tolerant to heat and cold. Avg. 9,400 seeds/oz. Packet: 250 seeds.

Greens, Pac Choi
CULTURE: Sow from early spring through midsummer. In the South, pac choi is well adapted for fall plantings. Sow 15 seeds/ft., 1/4" deep in 2" wide bands in rows 18" apart. Thin plants as recommended in our Pac Choi Comparison Chart. Harvest before flowering. For baby-leaf, sow in a 2" to 4" wide band sow 60 seeds/ft. Clip 4-5 week-old leaves.
PESTS: Flea beetles can be controlled by covering with floating row covers (see index) from day of sowing.
