Spectacular bicolor petals.
The underside of the petals is a muted burgundy giving the flowers a unique, flashy appearance. An excellent mix of colors; high percentage of double and semidouble flowers; and long, strong stems combine to make this the calendula to grow. Organically grown. Ht. 18-24". Avg. 2,500 seeds/oz. Packet: 50 seeds.

GERMINATION: 7-14 days at 70°F (21°C).
CULTURE: Outdoors (recommended) - After last frost, when soil is warm, 6 seeds/foot, 1/4" deep. Thin. Make 2-3 successive sowings 2-3 weeks apart for continuous blooms from summer to heavy frost. Indoors -Sow 4 weeks before last frost, 2 or more seeds/cell or container. Thin and transplant after last hard frost.
LIGHT/SOIL: Full sun to partial shade; rich, well-drained soil.
SPACING: 6-12".
USE: Cut flowers, beds, borders, containers, mass plantings, cottage gardens. Also edible.
HARVEST: Fresh - Flowers 1/2 open. Edible - Flowers fully open.
