GERMINATION: 8-14 days at 68-72ºF (20-22ºC).
CULTURE: Indoors - 8-10 weeks before last frost. Light is needed for germination, cover seed lightly. Bottom water or mist to avoid covering seed. Transplant out after danger of frost is past. Outdoors - 2 weeks before last frost, in groups of 3-4 seeds. Thin. Deadheading increases bloom. Best grown as annual. Reseeds.
LIGHT/SOIL: Full sun; average, well-drained soil.

USE: Fresh or dried cut flower, beds, pots, back of borders, wildflower plantings, meadows, cottage gardens.
