Digitalis
GERMINATION: 14-21 days at 65-70°F (18-21°C).
CULTURE: Indoors (recommended) - 10-12 weeks before last frost. Do not cover. Transplant out after danger of frost is past. Outdoors - As soon as soil can be worked (only in areas with long growing seasons). Thin.
NOTE: Deadheading encourages additional blooms.
LIGHT/SOIL: Full sun to partial shade; moist, well-drained soil.
SPACING: 12".
USE: Cuts, borders, mass plantings, woodland and cottage gardens.
HARVEST: Lower 1/3 of flowers have opened.
