Triangle FlashbackOrganic Calendula Seed

1810G

Product ID: 1810G

Unusual peach-pink blooms.

Works well in gardens and containers, and has the nice long Flashback stem for use as a cut flower. The pastel tones offer a hint of relief from the bold colors at the end of summer. Petals of the edible flowers can be used fresh or dried in 'flower confetti', soups, soufflés, rice dishes, baked goods, and to garnish salads and desserts. Flavor is tangy and slightly bitter. Remove the petals from the flower base before consuming as the base can be quite bitter. Popular choice for brightening up salad mix. Also known as pot marigold, common marigold, and Scotch marigold. Organically grown. Ht. 18-24". Avg. 3,700 seeds/oz. Packet: 50 seeds.
