Versatile Pac Choi adds a touch of red.
Excellent at micro mix, baby leaf, and full size. Red Choi changes from dark green leaves with maroon veins at micro size to dark maroon leaves with green undersides and thin green petioles at full size (8-10"). Avg. 150,000 seeds/lb. Mini: 220 seeds.

Pac Choi
CULTURE: Sow from early spring through midsummer. In the South, greens are well adapted to fall plantings. Sow 15 seeds/ft., 1/4" deep in 2" wide bands in rows 18" apart. Harvest before flowering. For salad mix: In a 2" to 4" wide band sow 60 seeds/ft. Clip 4-5 wk. old leaves.
PESTS: Flea beetles can be controlled with rotenone or pyrethrin, or better yet by covering with floating row cover (see Index) from day of sowing.
