This quality instrument measures the dissolved solid content of liquids using the Brix scale from 0%-32%. Used extensively to quantify sugar content of squash in our breeding program. Place a few drops of liquid on the prism and read the percent sugar off the scale seen through the eyepiece. Automatic temperature compensation. A padded carrying box is included.
