Bushy, upright, and well-branched plants have foliage that is greenish when young and matures to glossy black. The fruit matures to dark red and is very hot to the taste. USE: Beds, borders, edging, or containers. Fruit is edible and very hot. Dry for use in ristras.
HARVEST: Fresh - After peppers begin to ripen for different color effects. Dried - At least 90% of peppers on stem are red; orange peppers continue to ripen to red. Strip foliage; hang.
