High sugar content promotes faster fermentation and reduces risk of spoilage. A stand of Sweet Silage will produce 3-4 silage cuts plus a summer lamb/cattle finishing and has a 40% greater nitrogen conversion rate than red clover. This grass is even environmentally friendly with 24% less feed nitrogen lost in feces and urine. Contains: 50% Aberecho HSG Intermediate Ryegrass, 20% Aberavon HSG Perennial Ryegrass, 20% Aberdart HSG Perennial Ryegrass, and 10 % Medium Red Clover. Recommended soil pH: 5.5-8.5. Sow at 25 lb./acre. Best in Zones 4-7. Avg. 200,000 seeds/lb.
