Lots of little, mauve-colored flowers form the 1 1/2-3" umbrella-shaped blooms. This is actually an edible carrot, but it bolts very early making it a nice cut flower addition. Long, sturdy stems help to make it a great filler in arrangements. Ht. 42-48". Avg. 19,850 seeds/oz. Packet: 100 seeds.

GERMINATION: 12-16 days at 60-65°F (16-18°C).
CULTURE: Outdoors (recommended) - Sow thinly in rows, covering lightly, in early spring after danger of frost. Indoors - 6-8 weeks before planting out. When the first true leaves appear, transplant into larger containers. Harden off and transplant out after last frost.
LIGHT/SOIL: Full sun; average, well-drained soil. Tolerates dry soil.
SPACING: 9-12". Provide support if exposed to windy areas.
USE: Fresh cut flower, back of beds, borders.
HARVEST: Approx. 80% of flowers in umbel are open. Flowers should be crisp white with only slight green tint or dark purple and no hint of pollen shed depending on variety.
