Bred to be together, Cornito Giallo and Cornito Rosso are a perfect pair. Harmonious red and yellow-ripe, these diminutive, “half-size” Italian frying peppers have the same earliness, deliciously sweet flavor, and all-over appeal as our cult-classic Carmen and her golden partner Escamillo. We named these two “cornitos” or “little horns” as they are smaller versions of the Corno di Toro “bull’s horn” type peppers. They are sure to please with their beautiful appearance, productivity, and flavor! Easy to grow, widely adaptable, and excellent any way you eat them — raw, cooked, sliced, diced, sautéed, stuffed, and especially fire-roasted. These peppers were bred by retired Johnny’s breeder and All-America Selections Breeder’s Cup recipient Janika Eckert, and Cornito Giallo is one of her outstanding AAS winners!
