Medium-small, oval fruits avg. 3 lb. with yellow skin with green mottling. Very sweet aromatic white flesh. Widely grown in Spain. Lambkin is earlier and more widely adapted than typical Piel de Sapos, with excellent uniformity and good yield. For best flavor, harvest when the fruit turns from green to yellowish green and slips from the vine. Melons may also be cut from the vine before slip for better shelf life (up to 7 days) but this will result in fruits that are slightly less sweet. AAS winner. Intermediate resistance to Fusarium wilt races 0 and 1. Avg. 12,000 seeds/lb. Packet: 30 seeds.
