Our most popular herb, with a wide range of flavors and colors. Famous for making Italian pesto and flavoring vegetables and fish. Some varieties are also used as cut flowers.
Basil can be seeded directly into the ground in early through mid summer. It grows quickly and yields well when seeded thickly into moderately rich, moist soil in full sun.
FUSARIUM WILT TESTED - FT0 SEEDS - We specialize in fusarium-screened basil seed lots. 1,000 seeds from each seed lot are lab tested for the presence of pathogenic fusarium wilt fungus. We only ship basil seed lots where no fusarium was found in the lab test. For more information about fusarium wilt and basil, please request a copy of our Basil Pests and Diseases technical sheet #8660.
