Flowers Matricaria

Magic Yellow

Pelleted Matricaria Seed

Product ID: 3679P

Prolific filler flower.

Upright, well-branched plants have long, strong stems that support abundant lime-green to lemon colored 1/2-1" blooms. Compared to Magic Lime Green, which it is replacing, Magic Yellow has very similar flower color but blooms are flatter and slightly later to mature. Easy to grow and harvest. In Northern climates: achieve early, very tall (up to 48"), abundant stems by overwintering young plants inside a tunnel, utilizing row cover during the coldest part of the winter. Alternately, Magic Yellow can be transplanted into tunnels very early in the spring. In warmer climates: young plants transplanted outdoors and overwintered with minimal cover will yield similar results. Treat as an annual for best plant habit and yield in open field production. Tender of short-lived perennial in Zones 5-9. Also known as feverfew. Ht. 28-36". Avg. 22,500 seeds/oz. Packet: 50 seeds.
