Eliot Coleman design; Swiss made. Designed after the Wire Weeder, this tool allows a standing worker to remove small weeds with speed and precision, and with the least possible soil disturbance. Perfect for weeding closely spaced seedling vegetables like salad mix, carrots, and onions, as well as perennial flowers and herbs. Root-slicing blade is 4" L x 1/2" W, at the base of the 8mm (5/16") diam. galvanized shaft. This blade is significantly stiffer than previous models due to requirements of our manufacturer. Oiled ash handle. Overall length 5 1/2'.
