Makes 12 blocks that are 1 3/4" x 1 7/8" x 1 5/8" high. Has standard dibbles that make small depressions in the tops of soil blocks for seeds. This is the tool to have if you plan to use soil blocks for transplants on a commercial scale. Experienced growers can make and plant up to 2,500 blocks per hour. Rugged zinc-plated steel construction. Easy to use. Wet soil mix such as Johnny's 512, push block maker down, turn back and forth, and lift. Set filled block maker into a tray, squeeze, and release. Can also be fitted with optional Long dibbles (#9663) for large seeds or cutting or 3/4" Square Dibbles (#9529) to receive mini blocks.
