Originally used by New England clammers, the garden hod allows for harvesting and washing plants, fruits, and vegetables all in the same basket. Spray your harvest with a hose or dunk the whole hod in a larger container of water for most effective rinsing. Crafted in Maine with pine ends, birch dowels, a steam-bent oak handle and the same lobster trap wire as our compost bin - a durable stainless steel mesh, covered with food-grade vinyl. Weather resistant, hand-rubbed oil finish. Hundreds of other uses – both inside and out. Makes a great gift any time of the year. Holds 1 peck (8 quarts), basket is 16"L x 9"W x 5 1/4" deep.
