Verbena: Germination: 10-21 days at 65-80°F. Culture: Indoors (recommended) - 8-12 weeks before last frost. Darkness required for germination. Slow germination; sensitive to excess moisture; keep medium on the dry side. Transplant out after danger of frost is past. Outdoors - only where growing seasons are long; after last frost. Thin. Light/Soil: Full sun; any soil. Spacing: 8-12". Use: Fresh cut flower, borders, beds, containers, mass plantings. Harvest: Outer 2-4 layers of flowers are open.
