GERMINATION: 4-7 days at 62-68ºF (16.7-20ºC).
CULTURE: Indoors - Sow 8-12 weeks before planting out. Cover lightly. Transplant out when light frost is still possible. Outdoors - As soon as soil can be worked. Sow thinly. Ruffled varieties perform best when grown at 39°F. Direct seeding is not recommended.
LIGHT/SOIL: Full sun to partial shade; rich, moist, well-drained soil.
SPACING: 6-9". Deadheading may be required to have blooms all summer.
USE: Beds, containers, edible, pressing.
