GERMINATION: 4-7 days at 60-70ºF (16-21ºC).
CULTURE: Indoors - 2-3 weeks before last frost, 2 seeds/cell or pot. Thin. Transplant out after danger of frost is past. Outdoors - After last frost, when soil is at least 60ºF (16º), 6 seeds/ft. Thin.
TIP: Nitrogen-fixing inoculant increases flower and bean yields.
LIGHT/SOIL: Full sun; fertile soil high in humus.
SPACING: 4-8". Support required.
USE: Edible flower, arbors, walls, fences.
HARVEST: Edible flowers - plump buds or fully open flowers. Store buds in refrigerator 2-3 days on slightly damp towel in covered container. Use open flowers immediately.
