A sturdy multifunctional tool based on the famous Japanese garden knife. Great for use in the garden, near hedges, and in the field or greenhouse. Smooth walnut handle and tempered blade for an attractive tool that feels good in the hand. The string cutter on the blade can be used when staking trees and climbing plants. Depth measurements are marked on the blade in inches and centimeters to help you plant at accurate and consistent depths. Keep your knife in the leather sheath to protect the blade from dulling. The sheath includes a belt loop and sturdy handle strap. To maintain your blade, apply a thin layer of protective oil after each use. Regularly wipe off dirt and water. Use a medium to fine file to straighten out any major dents and nicks on the blade. The edge can be sharpened using a medium-sized sharpening disc or stone.
