Turnips
Turnips are a major ingredient in wildlife food plots. Deer are especially fond of them, as are sheep and cattle. Grazing can take place in the fall and into the early winter on the tops and on the roots later in the winter with good snow cover. May be harvested and stored like mangels for winter animal feedings.
