These unique, bicolor, 5" blooms have golden petals with primrose tips surrounding a green center. Blooms freely on vigorous plants. A wonderful cut flower and pack item when sold in 6" pots. Stunning in containers, borders, and bouquets. 2003 All-America Selections winner. Zones 9-10. Ht. 28-32". Avg. 45,400 seeds/oz. Packet: 100 seeds.

Growing Information:
Rudbeckia (Black Eyed Susan)
Germination: 14-21 days at 68 to 72ºF (20C). Culture: Indoors - 8-10 weeks before last frost. Do not cover seed. Transplant out after danger of frost is past. Outdoors - 2 weeks before last frost, in groups of 3-4 seeds. Thin. Deadheading increases bloom. Best grown as annual. Reseeds. Light/Soil: Full sun; average, well-drained soil. Spacing: 12-18". Use: Fresh or dried cut flower, beds, pots, back of borders, wildflower plantings, meadows, cottage gardens. Harvest: Blooms are completely open. Dry in silica gel.
