Developed by Johnny's! This manual greens harvester borrows technology from the big band saw harvesters. It uses a scalloped knife blade to cleanly slice the leaves. A cloth basket follows to collect them. Dense plantings are required so the greens will support each other while being cut. A single operator can cut the entire width of the bed at once. Available in 3 sizes. The 30" harvester basket will hold 3 lb. and fits beds up to 20" wide, the 42" harvester basket will hold 4 lb. and fits beds up to 30" wide, and the 48" harvester basket will hold 5 lb. and fits beds up to 36" wide. A sharp blade is critical! We recommend you purchase the Round Diamond Hone (#9175) to keep it sharp.
