Growing Information:
Bells of Ireland
GERMINATION: 12-21 days at 65-68°F (18-20°C). Prechill seed 1-2 weeks at 35-40°F (1.7-4.4°C).
CULTURE: Outdoors (recommended) - Early spring when soil is 50-60°F (10-16°C). Indoors - 6-8 weeks before last frost, in 3" pot packs. Light aids germination. Transplant after danger of frost is past.
LIGHT/SOIL: Full sun to partial shade; well-drained soil.
SPACING: 10-12". Staking may be needed.
USE: Fresh or dried cut flower, back of beds, borders, cottage gardens.
HARVEST: Fresh - when flowers are 1/2 open and green. Harvest regularly to promote bloom of side shoots. Dried - Bells are firm.
