Growing Information:
Cosmos
Germination: 7-10 days at 75°F. Culture: Outdoors (recommended) - after last frost, once soil temperature is above 60 F, sow thinly in rows. Thin. Indoors - 5-7 weeks before setting out. Transplant out after last frost. Light/Soil: Full sun; any soil; some wind protection. Spacing: 9-12". Deadheading is required to have blooms all summer. Use: Cut flower, back of beds, mass plantings. Harvest: Petals on first flower just opening, but not yet flattened.
