2½–3½" pure white flowers with an intricate, lacy pattern. Full, well-branched plants with strong, upright stems. Easy to grow. The clusters of green, star-shaped seed pods also make a unique bouquet addition. Also known as white lace flower and Minoan lace. USDA Certified Organic. Ht. 24–30". Avg. 2,600 seeds/oz. DAYS TO GERMINATION: Direct seed: 12-16 days at 60-65°F (16-18°C). Transplant: 7-14 days at 68-86°F (20-30°C), alternating day and night temperature. Chill seed at 40-45°F (4-7°C) for 1-2 weeks prior to sowing in the greenhouse.

Make 2-3 successive sowings, 2 weeks apart for a continuous summer harvest. Trellis
may be necessary. Direct seed (recommended): Sow seed thinly in rows, covering lightly, in early spring after last frost. If growing in the South, sow seed in the fall. Transplant: Sow 4-6 weeks before planting outside. When the first true leaves appear transplant into larger containers. Harden off and transplant outside after the last frost.

Plants do not perform well in temperatures above 85°F (29°C).


Average, well-drained soil. Will tolerate dry soil.



Fresh:Harvest when approximately 80% of the flowers in the umbel are open. Flowers should be crisp white with no hint of pollen shed. Dried: Once seed pods form.

Excellent cut flower. Back of beds and borders. Dried.
