Easy Wave® Burgundy Velour Pelleted (F1) Petunia Seed
Easy Wave® Burgundy Velour Pelleted (F1) Petunia Seed
New! Low-growing petunia for better surface coverage.
Easy Wave is one of the easiest petunias you can grow: plants are very resilient to varied growing conditions and hold up better through the growing season. The Easy Wave series provides a vigorous, mounded, spreading plant habit in a wide range of colors. Profuse blooms are 2–3" across and a rich burgundy color. Compared to the Dreams series, the plant habit of the Easy Wave series is more low-growing and spreading. A good choice for covering more area as well as filling and spilling out of containers. Plants grow up to 3' wide and approximately 6–12" tall. Easy to grow from seed, petunias are a classic choice for containers, window boxes, and garden beds.Specs:

DAYS TO GERMINATION:
6-10 days at 72-77°F (22-25°C)SOWING:
Transplant (recommended) - Sow 4-6 weeks before planting out for 128 to 288-cell size or 6-8 weeks before planting out for larger cells or seedling containers. Apply a thin layer of vermiculite to hold seeds in place but do not completely cover seed, as light aids germination. Keep the soil surface moist; this will aid in dissolving the seed coating, if using pelleted seed. After germination, maintain an average temperature range of 60-75°F (16-24°C) for best results. Harden off and transplant outside after danger of frost. Deadheading spent blooms is not required but does encourage plant health and maximum flowering. Direct seeding is not recommended.LIGHT PREFERENCE:
