1 1/2–3", deep purple flower clusters are produced on strong stems in the field and greenhouse. Seeker Series is more uniform and has a better color range than Pacific, which it replaced. Also known as annual statice and wavyleaf sea lavender. Ht. 24–30". Avg. 9,900 seeds/oz. Packet: 100 seeds.
SOWING: Transplant (recommended) - Sow into 50-cell flats, or preferred seedling container, 5-6 weeks before planting outside. Light aids germination; cover just enough to hold seeds in place. Harden off plants and transplant out after danger of frost. Note: Providing temperatures of 60°F (16°C) for 1-2 weeks after the seedlings emerge encourages rooting. Direct Seeding is not recommended.
