About the Editor: Lynn Byczynski has been growing and writing about cut-flowers since 1990. Her first book, The Flower Farmer: An Organic Grower's Guide to Raising and Selling Cut Flowers, has been credited with inspiring thousands of people to start growing flowers for sale locally. On her own farm in Lawrence, Kansas, she has grown certified-organic flowers for local florists, supermarkets, natural food stores, a pick-your-own subscription, and weddings. Until recently, Lynn was also editor and publisher for many years of Growing for Market, a national magazine for small-scale, sustainable vegetable and flower farmers. She is the author of several additional books, including Market Farming Success: The Business of Growing and Selling Local Food and The Hoophouse Handbook.
