Its single-hand operation design enables the other hand to stabilize the log during the inoculation process. With routine cleaning and proper storage, this tool is built to withstand the test of time, ensuring years of reliable performance.Maintaining Your Inoculation Tool: Over time, sawdust spawn residue may accumulate in your tool, leading to a sticky texture or causing the plunger to become stuck. Remedy this by soaking the tool in hot, soapy water for approximately 30 minutes. Then, press down on the head of the tool to dislodge any debris.Note: Regularly inspect the head of the tool to ensure it remains securely fastened. If you notice it coming loose, use a large flathead screwdriver to tighten it. Insert the screwdriver into the groove located at the tip, grasp the tool's head, and gently twist the screwdriver until snug.
