Thank you for your interest in Johnny’s Community Requests program. We are currently pausing the intake of new requests while we update the program. We appreciate the valuable work that organizations in our communities are doing. Please check back periodically for updates.

Areas of Support

We accept and review requests from agricultural or horticultural needs-based, 501(c)3 organizations with programs supporting one or more of the following causes:

  • Small- or human-scale, organic, or regenerative farming.
  • Vocational agriculture for teens and adults.
  • Healthy eating habits in young students.
  • Food security and/or food sovereignty within the local community.

How to Qualify

Qualifying requests will receive an in-kind gift of seeds or an organization discount.

  • Requestor must be a 501(c)3 organization with a qualifying program (see list above).
  • One request will be considered per requestor every 12 months (July 1 through June 30).
  • We limit in-kind donations to organizations or schools that physically engage in planting the seeds.
  • A fee for shipping and handling of physical items may be assessed at our discretion.
