A classic filler for bouquets.
Erect plants produce 2 1/2" yellow-lime green flowers atop long, wiry stems. Excellent for mixed bouquets and makes a unique dried flower. Also known as thoroughwax and hare's ear. Also available in organic seed. Ht. 24–36". Avg. 19,400 seeds/oz. Packet: 100 seeds.
SOWING: Transplant - Sow into 128- or 72-cell plug flats or preferred seedling container 5-8 weeks before planting out. 128-cell plugs require 5-7 weeks, and 72-cell plugs require 6-8 weeks of growing to mature transplant. Harden off seedlings before transplanting out. Direct seed - Sow into cool soil for best results.
LIGHT PREFERENCE: Sun/Part Shade.

PLANT SPACING: 10". Support may be necessary in windy locations.
HARDINESS ZONES: Annual.
HARVEST: Fresh - Flower heads begin to show color. Dried - Flowers completely open; hang to dry.
