Frost protection down to 28°F/-2°C. The most versatile fabric weight. Extend your growing season in spring by placing over transplanted crops such as brassicas and cucurbits. Cover crops immediately after transplanting or direct seeding and enjoy numerous benefits including: Organic pest control, water conservation by reducing evaporation, reduced erosion, faster germination, and ultimately INCREASED YIELDS. Use with hoop supports over plants such as peppers whose growing points project against the fabric. Use again in the fall to further extend your season for later planted crops. Can also be used in multiple layers for overwintering in unheated high tunnels or under plastic in outdoor overwintered low tunnels. 85% light transmission. 0.55 oz./sq.yd.
