DAYS TO GERMINATION:

7-14 days at 72-78°F (22-26°C)

SOWING:

Transplant (recommended) - Sow into 72-cell flats 5-6 weeks before planting out. Gently press seeds into growing media or cover lightly as light aids germination. Harden off and transplant out after last frost. Young plants benefit from pinching out the center stem to encourage branching. Germinates readily and flowers quickly once transplanted in the field; plants will yield multiple cuts over the season.

Sun/Part Shade.

12-18".

HARDINESS ZONES:

Annual.

VASE LIFE:

5-7 days.

HARVEST:

When about half the flowers on the stem are open. Stems are easy to clean but can leave a sticky residue on hands and harvest tools.

SOIL REQUIREMENTS:

Fertile, well drained soil.

USES:

Cut flowers, cottage gardens, beds and borders.

NOTES:

Plants contain nicotine.
