'Lemon Bush' Eucalyptus | Johnny's Selected Seeds
This variety is 'Lemon Bush' or Eucalyptus citriodora.
This is a variety that is distinct because of its very strong citrusy scent. It has a really nice lemony fragrance that you'll notice when you're harvesting or working with this variety.
A few of the other key traits about this variety are the plant habit. You can see it's nice and upright and has a little bit more of a tree like habit.
It also has these, long, narrow, arrow-shaped leaves, some nice attractive red coloring on the new growth that contrasts really nicely with the green leaves, and then this variety is also not as frost tolerant as some of the other eucalyptus varieties. So this is a species that will sustain some damage after frosts and freezes. So that's also something to be aware of if you are growing this variety.
