'Silver Dollar' Eucalyptus | Johnny's Selected Seeds
This variety is 'Silver Dollar' or Eucalyptus cinerea.
This is a really classic looking eucalyptus variety with these kind of gray-green leaves. You get nice long, sturdy stems off this variety.
Another key characteristic are these nice large leaves that are stacked kind of like silver dollars up these stems. This has a semi upright habit and the stems are branching off kind of a main stalk. They continue to elongate as the plants grow into the fall.
This variety has the typical kind of pungent eucalyptus fragrance. And it also has the waxy white coating on both the leaves and on the stems. You will notice that when you are harvesting and working with this variety.
