This heirloom broom corn has gorgeous, shiny, black-coated seeds.
Heavy producer with 8 to 12 stems/plant, each stem topped with one 8-14" seed head. Harvest any time after developing but is most striking once the black seeds develop and mature. Avg. 21,000 seeds/lb. Packet: 100 seeds.

Corn, Ornamental and Dry Field
CULTURE: Direct seed from last frost date to mid-June. Sow seeds 1/8"- 1/2" deep, 2" apart. Once plants are 4" tall thin to 8-12" depending on use.
HARVEST: Anytime after seed heads have developed. Plants will yield 5-10 stems each. Use in fall arrangements fresh or dried.
